Ive been here so many time cuz the food was great, the things that annoying me was just all the meat in Mookata it looked like hadn't been prepared properly or perhaps it's their signature cuz every time when I ordered Mookata It comes like this all the time.Btw you should bring scissors with you when you need to order Mookata.

Dropped by for dinner just before closing. The prawn spring rolls and crispy pork were nice. Lacking a little atmosphere, possibly because they were near to closing time.

I walked past on a weeknight around 9pm on my way to another restaurant but decided to give it a go.I was seated almost immediately and scanned the QR code to make my order. Very quickly I got my rice, drink and meat however my papaya salad would not appear for another 30mins.I would have highly preferred all my food to come out at once, even if I had to wait. Rather than waiting for my main well after my sides.Portions were on the small side but that was balanced by the low pricing. I gather the idea is to order multiple dishes. The meat was a bit dry but not a deal breaker and the papaya salad was done a bit too sweet for my taste buds.

📍Heng & Pick Prik | 135 Bourke St, Melbourne VIC 3000@hengthailocal @pickprik.melbourneAmazing Thai street food served from two different kitchens within the same restaurant. They don’t offer an extensive menu but the dishes are authentic. If you haven’t already tried this, definitely check it out.We ordered:🥢 Som Tum (papaya salad)🥢 Nam Tok (grilled beef salad)🥢 Grilled chicken🥢 Deep fried chicken🥢 Deep fried school prawns🥢 Vegetables & Tofu stir-fryBest som tum we’ve tried in Melbourne. The flavour balance was on point. The highlight of the meal was nam tok. The beef was tender and had a lovely charcoal taste which was coated in a flavour bomb sauce. The grilled chicken and the fried chicken was succulent and delicious. We also had deep fried school prawns. Crunchy and delightful. Our least favourite dish was the vegetable & tofu stir-fry only because for the price paid, it was quite small and it came with just two pieces of tofu.Nonetheless, it was a great dining experience that took us back to the street food markets of Thailand. 😍

Wow! I recently ordered the fried pork belly and garlic rice from Heng restaurant through UberEats, and I must say, it was an absolute delight! The pork belly was incredibly flavorful, and the garlic rice was simply amazing. What's even better is the reasonable price - only $10 for the fried pork! I highly recommend Heng restaurant for anyone craving delicious and affordable Asian cuisine. You won't be disappointed!"

Had this place on my bucket list for a while and it did not disappoint! Absolutely loved the food and the atmosphere and decor is great and vibrant, the staff are helpful and friendly and the prices are very reasonable, makes a good casual dinner spot. Just a warning if you’re ordering spicy make sure you can handle actual spice with a bit of kick

We stumbled across Heng (a Thai local food hall) when searching for a spot that serves a late dinner. The bustling atmosphere, colourful decor and tasty food makes this a great catchup spot with family and friends. We ordered Set A (the fried barramundi in spicy herb salad, grilled chicken on rice and salmon with Korean soy sauce). The salmon was the clear winner for us.The mookata (Thai hotpot) was a popular option for many so will need to try that out next time!

The slowest service of my life, a little confusing with the 2 in 1 restaurants where one can be seated instantly and the other you need to wait in line when really you can just scan the QR code at the table for any restaurant.Anyway, some the food initially came out super fast and then we waited a whole hour for the rest of it???? What on earth, this is casual food with the longest wait. The calamari is honestly just the worst I’ve ever taste, the pad see ew was pretty solid just super oily, please don’t order the spring rolls they were disgusting, but the salmon was so delicious!!! And the spice in the mayo and chilli was so tasty, so the wild discrepancy in food quality and time for food to come out….Do not come, I wouldn’t bother, with the amount of actually good Thai restaurants there is to choose from in Melbourne, I would not pick this place. But the decor is cute
