For my first dinner in Singapore, I tried the Stingray (stingray fin) that I wanted to try. The taste did not disappoint! The fatty white fish was moist and went well with the sambal spread on top. The small size, priced at $13, was eaten by myself in no time.

Stingray BBQ, Sambal sotong and Fried rice and bean sprout... foods are delicious. Especially stingray BBQ, we repeat order, one not enough.

Food is reasonably priced. Crispy cereal prawns are really crispy and come with abundant cereal. Salted egg chicken is good too. Stingray is special but I’m not sure how it compares with other restaurants. Open till late night!

Not many Sambal stingray in Singapore that i can appreciate. This is one of them.
The stingray was fresh and cooked to perfection.
The sambal which is star of the dish striked a balance between spicy, tangy and sweet. Not too over power.
The chopped onions was so refreshing and enough crunch to complete the dish!

Still the undeniable king. Flavourful, oniony sambal. Soft, fresh stingray. Fantastic char. Easily won a head to head with Stall 31.

Awesome stingray fish. Veggies laced with garlic. Carrot cake which you see here is not sold here but from the restaurant around here. Look for the guy called - Good man. That’s what he proclaims himself to be. The weight of fish and price are reasonable for this Newton circus hawker center is famous for its notoriety ! But trust me. U get right price for ur meal !!
