Food is yummy... Service is good...Look for the malay uncle, jovial and friendly.Recommend.
For 6 dollar get a lot of kwetiau cockles. So worth to try. The service is good and offer me to sit down there
We ordered chili crab, black pepper crab, oyster kai lan, sambal petai, bbq stingray, mantow bread n 2 plain rice. The food served doesn't take long, with generous portion for 4 of us and tasteful. Price is reasonable, the boss (guess so) is approachable n friendly. Their cook is good for the taste (not salty, not sweet and not too spicy). Worth trying and recommended.Location accessible by MRT and public transport. Newton Food Centre is well-known for tourist Dinners, spacious and airy.
I really lovee the chili crab! The taste is a bit sweet and spicy (but not too spicy so its good if you cant handle spice). We ordered kangkong and sting ray too (my 1st time trying stingray but its surprisingly good). The chili crab sauce is generous and I cant stop eating it lol. And of course its halal certified! So for moslem dont worry 😉
Auntie (probably a crew) became very rude just because we spilled over her laminated menu pamphlet unintentionally and decided we order other food. These type of attitude shouldn't be practiced when you're in a F&B business. Customers will simply get annoyed and will veer away from your stall.
