I believe reviews are really for Hawkers that deserve recognition.
This stall helped us to find a seat, gave us all cutleries and even tissue papers.
Food was really good, this was my second trip here and wanted to try a new stall. (Previous was a Michelin’s recommended)
Let the photos do justice, didn’t want very long too. Faster than expected.
$15 for all the main dishes
$8 for the vege
$1 rice
Total $54 damage.

BBQ seafood stall is rather common in food centres in Singapore, and they are usually open in the later part of the day. This one is my favourite in this iconic food centre. Locals used to associate Newton Food Centre with tourists and fierce touting, but that is history. It is now a very pleasant place to be at to savour the myriad of food in the evening. I like this BBQ seafood stall, for the very friendly stall owners, and quality dishes. It’s a place that I will definitely go back to whenever I crave for these BBQ dishes.

Every time I come to Singapore, I go to Newton to eat seafood. I have tasted the "deliciousness" of "Twelve Dao Fengwei" before. The taste is not inferior to the treasure but much cheaper.
This time, the delicious food was not open this time. My auntie greeted me kindly and wanted to try the "Xinxin" restaurant next door.
The menu prices are very clear and transparent. Chili crabs are 55 yuan each, so you don’t have to worry about being cheated because they are not weighed. Fried steamed buns were 6 yuan, and I also ordered a small portion of oatmeal shrimps. I forgot the price. The shrimps are quite big and only the heads are fresh. My aunt recommended the grilled stingray. It was not very expensive but I forgot about the price. Unexpectedly, my family said it was delicious and had no thorns.
The aunties will provide gloves and chat cordially. After eating, I ate again the next night. Highly recommend everyone to come and dine.

Stingray was fresh, well cooked with sambal. Kang Kong also cooked well, not soggy.
