Newton 51 Reviews

Terrible service and so-so food.Impatient staff who is rude and unprofessional. Asked how much is the total bill, he just repeated the price of each dish and expecting me to do the math. Failed to follow the request to not put chilli in one of the dishes but ultimately food is just so-so after so much of terrible experience.
I had eaten here before. So curious. Waited half an hour as the staff took their lunch break and turned away about 8 customers while they chatted and ate. Everyone understood they needed a break. But after their break they still lounged around chit chatting. Ok la. I’m not complaining about that. Lol. Waited half an hour for pasty white hokkein mee. Sambal saves the day
was craving orh luak but all the popular stalls had an 1 hr plus wait. decided to try this out and their orh luak is definitely not a 2.1 rating. its the right mix of crispy and chewy and oysters are fresh as well. would rate at least a 4 - not sure why the reviews are so bad but would definitely order from them again
Order oyster omelet. Fried food that isn't crispy is just oil soup. Needs a lot of improvement
Absolutely atrocious horrendous terrible despicable disgusting ridiculous. I ordered 1 takeaway Hokkien mee for $6 and all I got was noodles, no ingredients at ALL!! Go to nearby Newton Old 25 is much better
under fried hokkien mee and orh luak.. 1/4 of the orh luak is mixed with carrot cake. An absolute disappointment. Stall holder does not have a nice demeanour as well. A stall at o be skipped.
Ordered oyster omelette. They should change the dish name to Flour with tiny bit of egg and some oysters. There was hardly any egg in it. Eating flour the whole time I thought I ordered Haribo for lunch.Don't bother trying
